We welcome both Master’s and Doctoral applicants interested in algorithm development or theoretical analysis of trustworthy machine learning under data bias, including fairness, transfer learning, and out-of-distribution generalization. We are looking for students who:
- Have a strong interest in algorithm development or theoretical analysis of machine learning
- Have a strong interest in data bias problems in machine learning
- Have a strong background in machine learning or mathematical statistics
- Approach research through logical reasoning and constructive discussion
